Acorn Collecting

Its a very warm day today. Indian Summer. We walked down to the mailbox. John brought his "treasure bucket" with him, carefully carrying it down the stairs with him, and down the hill. He held onto my hand with his right hand, and carried the flower pot in the left. Every so often he would drop my hand, crouch down, and add an acorn or a conker nut to his bucket. He didn't make it down to the mailbox. He stoped halfway down the hill to sit down and scoop up acorns. Yesterday he did the same thing, but we didn't bring the treasure bucket that time, so he insisted on carrying two full fistfulls of acrons all the way up the stairs, climbing up the stairs with his fists.
