We got the April Issue of Wild Animal Baby today. John and I went down to check the mail and take out 6 (!) empty gallon containers for milk to the recycling. I put them in a box and put them by the recycling container and John helped step on each one and throw it into the Blue bin. While he was distracted, I went to get the mail. We have been having a problem with someone taking our mail, so I have to grab it as soon as it arrives. In the mail was wild animal baby magazine/baby book.
I gave it to John and told him GaGa sent him a new book and if he brought it upstairs, I would read it to him. He took it and ran up the hill saying "Ga Ga! Ga Ga!." It was very cute. We sat on the stairs and read the book. Then we went and watered all the plants, including some onions that had sprouted that Charles planted in the backyard. Then Charles came home and it was time for mama to go.
I took baby animals with me so I could tape up all the seams of the pages. He ends up ripping these books apart and eating them. Then he will find a ripped out page and sadly bring it to us, wanting us to read it. "We can't read this book to you, John, " we have to say, "you ripped up this book!" Well, this time I'm a step ahead! Haha.
This is our John. There are many Johns out there, but this one is ours. Our daily life with John, celebrating the insignificant details that make up life.
